    The design and development of packaging for mixing mangosteen extract soap of faculty of science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi

    Abstract
    The purposes of this research were 1) to study problems and needs of designing packages for mixing mangosteen extract soap for the Faculty of Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, 2) to design and develop packages for mixing mangosteen extract soap, and 3) to assess the satisfactions towards the packages from manufacturers, consumers and packaging experts. The samples consisted of 235 people. A structured interview and questionnaire were used to collect the data, which was then analyzed using percentile values, means and standard division. The result showed that since there had not been packages for this mixing mangosteen extract soap to be sold in the market, four patterns of packages were designed and construced for three products. The three products were 1) 80 grams of mixing mangosteen extract soap, 2) 100 ml. of facial cream mixed with mangosteen extract, and 3) 400 ml. of mixing mangosteen extract liquid soap. The second pattern was rated a high level of satisfaction by the target group.
