Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhorn students opinions on activity participation

Abstract

The purposes of the research, were 1) to study the personal factors of the RMUTP undergraduate; 2) students of examine the opinions of the students participating in the activities; and 3) to compare levels of students’ opinions on activities porticipation according to their personal factors. The samples were 400 undergraduate students of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon chosen by using proportional stratified sampling. The research instrument used to collect data was the questionnaire. The data were analyzed by t-test and F-test to compare the percentage, mean value, and the standard deviation. The level of statistical significance was at .05 level and multiple comparison test was run by Scheffe. application. . The result of research found that the majority of students were male (54.8%), the students were studying in the first year (29.3%), Bangkok commercial campus (47%), the students whose parents were together (72.3%), the students whose families had more than 4 members (68.25%), the students whose total family incomes (baht/month) 30,000-39,999 baht (22.3%), the students lived in their house/relatives house (3.98%), by the highest average side was benefit that received from attending the activities (3.98%), an opinion of students about attending the activities held by RMUTP have the overall level in high (3.67%) The hypothesis testing revealed that Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon students’ opinions had significant difference at .05 level in terms of their academic year and faculty.
