    Abstract
    The main objective of the study was to understand image perception of the sample groups of 840 people towards Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The sample groups included the general public and high school students. The method for collecting data was the questionnaire survey. Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon is known among student and general public. Students knew it as a university while the general public knew it as a vocational college. Thirdly, the outstanding perception of the institution among the students was in good academic level (mean=3.60). The highest perception score was about the schooling system (mean=3.60). The general public perceives more in details about its admission system (mean=3.52) and had good perception towards the institution’s good image (mean=3.52). Furthermore, online media played a significant role in transferring information and creating the image of the institution among the sample group (mean =3.52 from student and 3.35 from general people). Fifth result, gender did not play a significant role in perceiving the image of the institution. The last result was that, gender played a statistically significant mark by .01 in media exposure among general public. In conclusion, there is no distinctive difference between students and general public in having image perception towards Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. However, there is a statistical significance of .01 in exposure to online media, both out of home media and personal media.
