    Abstract
    The purposes of this research were to study and compare the characteristics of the school administrators demanded by the teachers under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Bangkhuntian, in the whole level; and as classified by the gender, educational level, work experiences. The sample groups contained 340 teachers under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Bangkhuntian, chosen by a simple random sampling method. Percentage, means, standard deviation and t-test were applied to the data analysis. The findings were 1) the characteristics of the school administrators demanded by the teachers under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Bangkhuntian, in the whole level and in each aspect, were at a high level, especially the aspect of merit was at a highest level. 2) the characteristics of the school administrators demanded by the teachers under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Bangkhuntian, as classified by the gender, educational level and work experiences were not different.
